About the clinic
How the clinic works
Vera Clinic opened in 2018 in a former apartment on Barnovi Street: five treatment rooms, a sterilisation room, a small consultation corner and a reception that does not resemble a hotel.
The clinic was founded by Dr Nino Kapanadze after ten years in larger practices. The rule she wrote first still stands: the plan is written by the doctor who examined the patient, priced in full, and nothing is done that is not in it.
Legal entity: LLC Vera Clinic, ID 405 118 246. Medical activity licence No. 012345, issued 2018, dentistry and dermatology. The licence is displayed at reception.
Equipment
What is in the rooms
- Cone-beam 3D CT (CBCT) and digital radiography — images are stored in your file and sent to you on request
- Dental operating microscope in the endodontic room
- Intraoral scanner for orthodontics and prosthetics instead of impression trays where the case allows
- Class B autoclave with cycle logging and a separate sterilisation room
- Piezosurgery unit for bone work
- Five treatment units, each with its own aspiration and ventilation
Equipment types are listed so you know what a plan item involves; the type of equipment does not by itself determine the outcome.
Sterilisation and anaesthesia
What happens before you sit down
Sterilisation
Instruments are washed, packed in sealed pouches with chemical indicators and sterilised in a class B autoclave; each cycle is logged. Pouches are opened in front of you. Tips, saliva ejectors, cups and gloves are single-use.
Anaesthesia
Local anaesthesia with articaine-based products; a topical gel is applied before the injection. We ask about allergies, blood pressure and medication at every visit, not only the first. General anaesthesia and sedation are not offered here; where they are needed we refer you.
First visit
The first visit, step by step
Before you come
Bring previous images and plans if you have them, and a list of medication. Eat normally; do not take painkillers in the two hours before if you come with pain — it helps the diagnosis.
At reception
A one-page health questionnaire in your language and consent to examination. Five minutes.
With the doctor
Conversation, examination, images only if they change the plan, then the plan itself — written, priced, with alternatives.
Afterwards
You take the plan home. If you agree, the coordinator books the visits in the order the plan sets. No treatment on the first visit unless you came in pain and ask for it.
The 60 ₾ fee is credited to treatment started within 30 days; prices in a signed plan are fixed for 90 days.
International patients
If you are coming from abroad
About a third of our patients live outside Georgia for part of the year. The coordinator, Ana, works in English and Russian and is your single contact from the first e-mail to the last visit.
- Send existing images and a description by e-mail; you receive a preliminary plan and estimate within two working days. The final plan is set after examination here.
- Visits are grouped into one or two trips where this is clinically sound; where healing time is required, we say so in advance.
- After each visit you receive a written summary and your images by e-mail, so a dentist at home can continue from the same file.
- Payment by card in lari; receipts in English for your insurer on request.

Warranty
Warranty terms
A warranty applies to the work we did, not to biology. It is written into every plan item, and it holds if you come for a check-up and hygiene every six months.
- Composite fillings — 12 months: a filling that fails is redone at no charge
- Crowns, veneers and the prosthetic part of an implant — 36 months against manufacturing defects
- Implant integration is a biological process and cannot be guaranteed; if an implant fails to integrate within the first year, the surgical stage is repeated at the cost of the implant only
Orthodontic results depend on wearing retainers as prescribed; this is discussed and signed before treatment starts.

First visit: 40 minutes, 60 ₾ — examination, images if they change the plan, and the plan in writing. No treatment on the first visit unless you are in pain and ask for it.
